Peder Tordenskjold

Ernst Munkeboe, 1910

The film is based on the true story of the Danish-Norwegian sea hero Peter Wessel Tordenskiold’s exploits during the Great Northern War of 1709 to 1720. The action is composed of a number of significant events, such as the departure with the frigate Løvendals Galej in 1912, the Battle of Colberghejde in 1715, Tordenskiold’s elevation to nobility in 1916 and his death in 1920.
In addition, the director has built a love story around the photograph of a Miss Norris that Tordenskiold carried in his breast pocket when he died.

Deciding to have a little fun, Prince stays in character as a royal.

Austrian troops move across the country’s northern border, and among many other members of the French nobility who emigrated, Erneste des Tressailles also serves as an officer in the enemy ranks.

FRAGMENT | A young man finds himself at loggerheads with his friend after he has tried to kiss his wife and at the same time turns out to be a common thief. When they meet again several years later, the villain has become a member of the crime gang called The Black Domino. By a nefarious trick, the villain gains access to his old friends’ villa and pretends to reconcile with them, while his hooded, cloaked and masked cronies prepare to kidnap the man as soon as he steps out the door.
