You Shall Honor -

Fritz Magnussen, 1918, 0 min
MOST WANTED | The film shows Olaf Fønss in one of his – reportedly – best roles.

WHAT'S IT ABOUT?
The ambitious clerk Frantz Gerner eagerly climbs the career ladder and manages to win both a distinguished position and the boss’s daughter, Ellinor. He does everything in his power to hide his poor origins and humble childhood home, and when his father turns out to be waiting at table at his wedding, he denies all knowledge of the old man, who falls to the ground and dies of heart failure. From that point on, happiness begins to turn its back on Frantz, just as he turned his back on his father.
