“30 Years of Nordisk Film” celebrates the thirtieth anniversary of Nordisk Film, featuring clips of the company’s major films from its first three decades. The first part consists of reportage films depicting important historical events such as the inauguration of King Frederik VIII in 1906 and Ellehammer’s first flight that same year. The rest of the film is a cavalcade of the greatest moments in Danish silent film history featuring the biggest stars of the time.

A man falls asleep in the middle of the street and dreams that he is far away from the noise and clamour of the big city. The dream quickly becomes a nightmare in which he finds himself in life-threatening situations involving cowboys and tribal people. Just as things are about to reach a sticky end, he is jolted back into the real world by a police officer.

FRAGMENT | Tønne secretly visits a posh lady for dance lessons, which his wife mistakes for infidelity. All attempts to convince his missus that the visits are just about dancing seem to fall on deaf ears. Perhaps not too strange, as it turns out that Tønne has learnt almost nothing from his lessons.

After ten happy childhood years, the life of David Copperfield takes an obscure turn. His mother passes away and a cruel stepfather crushes young Copperfield’s dreams and sends him to work in London. From here, the poor soul must fend for himself.

After a wild night out, the three gentlemen return with three cute girl under their arms.
