Draw by draw is made public, but the ticket does not win, and Stine grows impatient.

Fra det mørke København

Carl Alstrup, 1910

A wealthy estate-owner travels to Copenhagen to experience what life is like in the city. Once there, he happens upon the beautiful young Clara and her brother, who take him to various pubs, to the Copenhagen Zoo, the airport and Tivoli Gardens. However, it comes to light that Charles is not Clara’s brother, but rather her fiancé, and that they are two of the city’s most notorious con-artists.

A radical fashion trend makes women swoon and men scoff. Can you imagine – trousers for women? Unfortunately for two ladies, the moralising society will soon teach them a lesson about dressing modestly.

The film has Danish intertitles.

København ved Nat

Carl Alstrup, 1910

Four good friends are so engrossed with their card game that they are late to pick up their wives at the theatre. So why not continue where they left off? The four gentlemen embark on a wild trip through the Copenhagen night life, a cornucopia of hot chicks, strong drinks and daring dances.

Manicuredamen med det store Hjærte

Ubekendt, 1911

The aristocratic Krag refuses to let his daughter marry the bourgeois Carl Vedel, even though the whole family begs him to permit the match. Fortunately, several opportunities for persuading the stubborn patriarch suddenly appear. For example, it turns out that he regularly visits the manicurist Stella in town, and he will have to account for that.
