The woman, a professor’s wife, who lives just below his flat has so far only been indirectly acquainted with him in the form of stomping feet and noise lasting into the small hours. She hopes to meet him face to face soon so that she can give him a thorough talking-to – and her wish is about to come true in a quite unexpected way.
