Tullemands Frieri

Ubekendt, 1910

Alois Nieswurz is eager to get out the door to propose to his beloved. But much to his chagrin, everything seems to be getting in the way! First, the ring disappears and then, goodness me, his underpants are sticking out the back of his trousers. Will the awkward suitor ever manage to get there and down on one knee?

At the beginning of the 20th century, a cinema experience offered three or four short films – first a report, then a drama, and finally a farce before going home.

Dødsflugten

Eduard Schnedler-Sørensen, 1911

One evening, Leo secretly follows her and ends up in the clutches of the nihilists, who give him an ultimatum that puts his life at stake. If Leo can obtain the police’s list of their cronies facing execution within three days, he and Sonja will be allowed to live.

Kean

Holger Rasmussen, 1910
