Pavillonens Hemmelighed

On his way home from a business trip, the young detective Karl Frank meets the siblings Kuno and Margit von Krall. Immediately captivated by Margit’s beauty, Frank accepts an invitation to visit them at their hotel soon. That same evening, he is hired for an important mission: he must prevent a burglary at the city’s jeweller.

The night before he is to begin his journey home from a foreign port, a ball is held on his ship, and he is seduced by an exotic woman. Den standhaftige tinsoldat

Karl Wieghorst, 1928

A cartoon version of HC Andersen’s famous fairy tale about the staunch tin soldier who falls in love with a dancing ballerina, sets out on an adventure, and is finally engulfed by the flames of love.

The film is full of funny scenes with living toys. It was both filmed and directed by Karl Wieghorst, who also produced several cartoons for Robert Storm Petersen, better known as Storm P.

A scientist has invented a serum that transforms the old into young and the old into new. His first subject – a very old man – gets a single injection and gradually turns into a baby. Meanwhile, three little men have stolen the syringe with the rejuvenation treatment, which they now give to men and livestock in dire need of it.

A tramp steals a duck, stuffs it under his shirt – so only its wings are sticking out – and lets himself be flown around, over the fields and forests. He lands at the home of an artist whose paintings come to life.

The animated film was created by the famous writer, actor, inventor and painter, Robert Storm Petersen, whose distinctive, humorous tone and style were evident in all of his works.

The actress Thilda Wardier is courted by the wealthy Adam de Rochord, who presents her with a large bouquet of white roses every time they see each other. When Thilda is brought on board by a prestigious theatre in Ostend and wants to look suitably refined for the occasion, she borrows an expensive piece of family jewellery from Adam. However, a criminal gang staying in the same hotel as Adam and Thilda gets wind of the jewellery, and they cleverly manage to steal it and replace the real stones with fake ones.

A love drama unfolds in the Norwegian mountains. Hans and Ellen are engaged, much to the chagrin of Jens, who secretly pines for Ellen. Jens eventually assaults Ellen, and the two rivals get into a fight.

Digterens Drøm

Karl Wieghorst, 1916

A poet has run out of ideas for his film script, much to the chagrin of himself and the film factory's director, Mr Meter. In a dream, the poet delivers the perfect script.
